SZA is getting tired of her music being leaked online and it's delaying her new music.

SZA

SZA is staring 'Lana' from "scratch" and will release the "leaks and outtakes" that have appeared online as the deluxe edition of 'SOS'.

The 'Kill Bill' hitmaker was left angered after her songs fell victim to a leak and vowed to take legal action against whoever "stole" her art.

Since then, there have been more leaks and SZA has decided to collect all the leaked songs and outtakes and drop them on the deluxe "ASAP", whilst she is giving herself more time to make a whole new record in 'Lana'.

She wrote on X: "Will be dropping the leaks and the outtakes from SOS as promised as the deluxe asap. Lana deserves more time and music no one's ever heard before. Seems fair. Bless. (sic)"

In a since-deleted post, she wrote: "So, we’ll make this really simple. Y’all leaked three songs from the deluxe. At this point, y’all can keep the throwaways and leaks. I’ll be starting LANA from scratch. Do not ask me about it again. Thank you.”

Earlier this year, SZA fumed on X: ”LEAKING MY MUSIC IS STEALING. THIS IS MY JOB. THIS IS MY LIFE AND MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

YOU ARE A THIEF AND I PROMISE TO PUT MAXIMUM ENERGY INTO HOLDING EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW. I AM TIRED .”

Top Dawg Entertainment President Terrence 'Punch' Henderson shared his client's post and warned: “When music leaks it often leads to delays and/or canceling whole projects. (sic)”

SZA previously explained how the deluxe edition ended up turning into a "whole project" of its own.

She told fans at a free Brooklyn concert last September: “The deluxe is a whole other album. It’s called ‘Lana.’ It’s seven to 10 songs and it’ll be out this fall.”
