Big personality meets global purpose as Q Radio partners with Concern Worldwide to shine a light on displaced families around the world.

Q Radio is proud to return as media partner for Concern Worldwide's powerful event: Camp Out for Concern. Fronted by Q Radio Drive presenter and Concern Worldwide ambassador, Ibe Sesay, this campaign invites people across Northern Ireland to spend one night sleeping outside in solidarity with over 123 million people who have been forced from their homes.

Whether it’s a back garden, a balcony or a tent under the stars, Camp Out for Concern offers everyone the chance to take part, raise awareness, and support families in urgent need. From Sudan to Somalia, Yemen to Gaza, this campaign helps provide vital food, water, and shelter to those living in crisis.

Sleep out in Solidarity under the stars at Stormont Estate on Saturday 29th of August, 2026. Join Ibe Sesay and the Q Crew for a very special roadshow from 5-7pm.

"I'm really proud to be supporting Camp Out for Concern again this year. It's easy to take having a safe place to sleep for granted, but for millions of families around the world, that's no longer a reality. This event is a simple way for people here in Northern Ireland to come together, have a great evening with family and friends, and make a genuine difference to those who need it most. I'll be hosting the Q Radio Roadshow from 5pm, so there'll be plenty of music, entertainment and fun before we all come together for a powerful moment of solidarity under the stars. I'd love to see as many people as possible at Stormont on 29th of August. Every tent pitched and every pound raised will help provide hope and vital support to families facing unimaginable circumstances." - Ibe Sesay, Q Radio Drive Presenter and Concern NI Ambassador
