Coleraine police have detected twelve people for alleged offences involving controlled drugs.
It follows what they describe as a 'proactive', 'preventative' anti-drugs operation in Portrush on Saturday night.
Clubbers and vehicles were stopped and searched to disrupt those involved in possessing and supplying illegal drugs in bars and nightclubs.
PSNI Inspector Donna Bowden said afterwards "this was a collaborative operation" and she promises that it "will be the first of many".
Inspector Bowden adds "we welcome people from everywhere to enjoy our night spots, but not to involve themselves in possessing or supplying illegal drugs".
