Over a kilometre of new asphalt to be laid on the Cromkill Road in Ballymena
The Department for Infrastructure has announced a £190,000 structural maintenance scheme for the C47 Cromkill Road, Ballymena.
The scheme on the C47 Cromkill Road from the UR77 Ballee Road West to the A26 Lisnevenagh Road will provide 1.2 kilometres of new asphalt road surface. Work will commence on Monday 6 February 2017 and is scheduled for completion by Friday 17 February 2017.
To protect the safety of road users and contractors on this busy part of the road network it will be necessary to close the road, adjacent diversionary routes will be sign posted.
Transport NI has carefully programmed the works operations and traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, however motorists should be aware that some delays may be expected and that additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.
