A dog, believed to have been abandoned, has been found in a remote area of Dungannon.
It was recovered by workers at Willow Grove nursing home on the Ballygawley Road at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.
Police say the dog was tied to a fence and with wire wrapped around his lead.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said, "Being found in such a remote location suggests he was intentionally abandoned."
Officers are currently looking after the animal at Dungannon PSNI station, however they're keen to speak to anyone with information on how he came to be tied to the fence.
