Fair Warning For Fairhill

by Gillian McDade

Incidents of anti-social driving are continuing in the Fairhill area of Cookstown.

That’s despite a recently organised campaign to highlight the consequences of being caught.

Over the weekend, police were monitoring vehicles.

They say despite previous attempts to educate drivers, this seems to have had little or no impact.

Officers have issued penalty notices to those drivers believed to be causing alarm and distress as well as several tickets.
