Appeal after Antrim burglary fails

There's been an attempted burglary at the Antrim home of an elderly woman whom police describe as 'vulnerable'.

It happened on the town's Menin Road around 11:45 yesterday morning, Tuesday 1 August.

Police are trying to identify the possible culprit.

He's a man in his 20's, who has ginger hair and was wearing a red coat at the time of the incident.

If you saw him at or near Menin Road, or may know who he is, you're asked to please contact Crimestoppers, or the PSNI's non-emergency number 101.
