A car parked in the Inisfree Gardens area of Strabane was set alight.
Constable Karen McGuinness said:
"It was reported that at around 12.10am on Friday 30th June, a silver Renault Scenic car was set alight in the Inisfree Gardens area of Strabane."
The car was completely destroyed as a result.
"I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Strabane Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 20 of the 30/06/17.
"Or alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
