Around 70 people turned out at a meeting in County Antrim last night - to throw their support behind Ian Paisley.

The North Antrim MP is suspended by the House of Commons and from the DUP - for failing to declare family holidays paid for by the Sri Lankan Government.

A recall ballot, where voters can sign a petition calling for a by-election, is open for another 5 weeks.

However, Councillor John Finlay - who organised the meeting - believes Mr.Paisley should stay put:

Petition constituents can sign to oust Ian Paisley as MP for North Antrim.

Young supporters offer media tea and biscuits near Gracehill County Antrim. They're joined by Councillor John Finlay who organised the meeting.
