Ballymena's Christmas Lights WILL be officially switched on this week after all!
TUV Councillor Timothy Gaston had wanted the ceremony postponed for 7 days, to avoid clashing with Remembrance Sunday this weekend.
But last night councillors voted by twenty-three to four to turn on Ballymena's Christmas Lights this Thursday evening.
DUP Councillor Paul Reid supported this move, which contains a significant compromise..
However Councillor Gaston thinks the decision is muddled.
