Ballymoney is edging closer to having its own dedicated road racing museum.
Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Councillor Darryl Wilson's motion calling for it passed committee stage last night .
It would be situated in Ballymoney Town Hall which already houses a lot of road racing memorabilia.
But the move still has to be ratified by the full council.
The Ballymoney area is considered one of the epi-centres of Nothern Ireland road racing, having produced a number of international stars, most famously the late Joey Dunlop.
