The southbound Lisburn road is the most congested road in the UK outside of London.
According to a recent study by the traffic information company, Inrix, the A1 from College Gardens Belfast to Wallace Park, Lisburn is surpassed only by roads in London for congestion.
However, based on the average number of hours spend in gridlock during peak time, Belfast as a whole fared a little better. It fell short of the top ten most congested cities; a list predictably headed up by London.
The UK was found to have the third worst level of congestion in Europe, behind only Russia and Turkey.
