A council worker is lucky to be alive after being attacked by a vicious dog while collecting bins in Derry-Londonderry.
The man, who's in his 40s, was mauled by a Japanese Akita dog and had part his ear ripped off and his face slashed.
He was left needing 50 stitches to his face.
