Work on upgrading the water supply is to move to the Morgans Hill Road in Cookstown from Monday.
Concerns have been raised about possible traffic jams in the town centre, due to this being an arterial route and the unofficial town bypass.
Improvement work has just been completed on the Moneymore Road.

NI Water says upgraded water mains will increase the quality of the water supply, while reducing leakage and improving pressure.

NI Water has said it will attempt to keep disruption to a minimum.
