Councillor Reuben Glover has thanked Mid & East Antrim Council for trimming and cutting back the tree line encroaching the pathway from Ballykeel to the cinema area .
Cllr Glover stated " This has made a tremendous difference to the path , people can walk now feeling that little bit safer . It's dark at this time of year so anything that can help to open up the path and let more light in the better for the people who use this path continuously."
Paul Frew added " This is the second piece of work that Cllr Glover has been able to achieve on this walk over the last few months. In the late summer he managed to get Council to strip away the weeds at the top of the hill tidying the whole area opposite the play park . He is making a real positive difference to the lives of the people of Ballykeel."
