A Maghera-based author's first children's book could be turned into a television show.

The animated production is in the early stages of development with its initial broadcast planned for 2018/19.

Yvonne Fleming released 'Sammy Sun Is Coming Out To Play' as part of a series of the Weatherbie stories.

The stories are aimed at bringing the weather to life and making learning fun using themed characters.
