A County Tyrone Commercial Goods Vehicle Operator was fined a total of £600 at Belfast Magistrates' Court yesterday.
A spokesperson for the Department for Infrastructure said:
"Keith Stewart Transport Ltd, 8 Loughrans Road, Aughnacloy, was fined in relation to tachograph offences.
"A vehicle being used by the company was stopped by Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) Enforcement officers on the Dargan Road, Belfast, on the 21 May 2017.
"On Examination of the Tachograph records four tachograph offences were detected.
"The company received a £150 fine for each of these offences, namely the driver’s failure to record data on the 4 May, 9 May, 18 May and 21 May 2017.
"The Court also ordered the company to pay an offender levy of £15."
