Five more people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 and an additional 2,951 new cases have been diagnosed.
Three of those deaths occurred in the most recent 24-hour reporting period.
There are 495 people in hospital who have tested positive and nine of them are in ICU.
Five of those nine people are being ventilated.
The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,189.
Ten hospitals are operating over capacity today.
There are outbreaks in 164 care homes and the highest percentage of new cases is among the 35 to 39-year-old age group.
