A further three people have died with Covid-19 and 2,096 new cases have been diagnosed.
There are 268 Covid-positive patients in hospital, of whom 34 are in intensive care.
Of those 34 in ICU, 26 are being ventilated.
Ards and North Down council area has the highest seven-day infection rate (889.8) followed by Lisburn and Castlereagh (854.1).
Causeway Coast and Glens has the lowest (584.8) while the Northern Ireland average is 785.6.
The age group with the highest percentage of people testing positive is now 20 to 24-year-olds (12.1%).
Hospitals are 119 beds over capacity and there are outbreaks in 43 care homes.
Meanwhile, in the Republic another 5,279 cases have been confirmed.
There are 443 Covid-19 positive people in hospital of whom 102 are in ICU.
