Darren Clarke set to open bar at Hilton Head

Dungannon golfer Darren Clarke is set to open a bar in the US this summer.

He’s tweeted his excitement at plans for ‘Darren Clarke’s Tavern.’

The bar will be situated at Hilton Head in South Carolina.

He told Golf Digest in 2008 that the only job he's ever had was at The Inn in the Park, in his hometown of Dungannon.

And he's never been shy to admit he enjoys a drink.

At his famous Open Championship press conference he told the assembled media: "I've had a few beers."
