Sinn Fein MLA Deirdre Hargey is to return to role in the Stormont Executive as Commmunities Minister tomorrow.
The south Belfast representative stepped aside from the Minister role after being admitted to hospital to undergo surgery in June.
Fellow Sinn Fein MLA Caral Ní Chuillin took up the position in her place.
On Monday, Deputy First Minister Michelle O'Neill announced Mrs Hargey would be returning this week.
