A right turn on to the busy A 26 Ballymena to Antrim Road was recently banned because of safety concerns.
But MLA Paul Frew says some motorists are still trying to turn right on to the main road from the Cromkill Road .
Civil works at the Cromkill Junction now prohibit the right turn manoeuvre towards Antrim.
It's because of a number of fatal accidents there in recent years.
Mr Frew says he's alarmed that some "reckless drivers" are ignoring it.
