A former Ballymena Borough Councillor’s child sex abuse convictions have been quashed by the Appeal Court.
David Tweed, 57, from Clonavon Terrace in Ballymena, hugged relatives after the verdict was delivered.
In 2012 a jury found him guilty of 13 counts.
Former Ireland rugby international Tweed, who's serving eight years jail, is set to be released.
