Ladies’ fashion from then and now met recently at the Burnavon in Cookstown.
Louise McElwee Shiels from Kate’s, which has been open in Cookstown for 44 years, brought a few outfits to Springhill’s Ages of Elegance exhibition for comparison.
The exhibition is on display until 30th September.
Costumes from Springhill House are displayed and it lets visitors take see the styles which grandmothers and great grandmothers may have worn in times gone by.
Over ten pieces are featured and range in date from 1730 to 1960.

Sharon McAleer, Deputy Chair of Mid Ulster District Council says when comparing dresses from then and now, it’s clear to see the styles that have come back into fashion from years gone by.
“If you have a love for fashion, this free exhibition in the Burnavon is a must see,” she adds.
Costume Curator Helen McAneney from Springhill says with over 3500 pieces to choose from, it was hard to select a small snapshot for this exhibition.
