A female staff member at a commercial premises in Derry/Londonderry has been left shaken after she was grabbed by the throat in an attempted Robbery.
It happened in the Bond Street area of the city late last night.
A masked man entered the shop, armed with a stick and demanded money, before jumping the counter and grabbing her.
The suspect was wearing black gloves and is said to have a local accent.
Police are appealling for anyone witth further information to get in touch.
