Fold Housing Association has invested over £6m in the construction.
They describe it as a ‘significant development.’
The houses and apartments are situated at Burnvale Crescent.
Work began in 2014.
The development is designated to become one of ten social housing “shared neighbourhoods.”
That’s under the First and Deputy First Minister’s Building a United Community strategy.
Speaking at the launch event, Diana Fitzsimons, chair of Fold Housing Association says it was particularly important to the organisation that they maximised the opportunities for job creation in the construction sector through the build process.
“At the height of the work Donaghmore Construction, a Dungannon based firm and the main contractor on the project, had over 70 tradesmen on site,” she explains.
The first handover of the new homes took place on 1st May, and this was followed by a further five handovers. The final handover is scheduled for December.
