The Fire Service is dealing with a large fire at a recycling plant in Coleraine.
since around 2 O’clock this morning more than 60 firefighters attended the scene along with eight pumping appliances, two aerial appliances, two water tankers and a command support unit.
Operations in the area are ongoing.
River Ridge, which runs the facility says "it’s still too early to assess the cause and the extent of the damage”
“The fire will be the subject of an immediate and thorough investigation and both the Health and Safety Executive and Northern Ireland Environment Agency have been notified.
Residents living nearby have been advised to keep their doors and windows closed due to a “large plume of smoke” in the area.
