Maghera Children's author secures international publishing deal

Maghera based Children’s author, Yvonne Fleming has signed an international publishing deal with leading publisher, Tiny Tree Children’s Books. 

Yvonne's secured it with the release of 'Colin Cloud is Making Shapes’.

The worldwide deal gives her the chance to develop the already successful 'Weatherbies' series and introduce her books to a new audience internationally.

The Weatherbies aims to make reading fun for young people aged 2 to 5, through using weather themed characters. 

It also delivers an environmentally and socially conscious message. 

Yvonne, who is a mother and a child-minder has always had a hobby of writing children's books.

She has previously released two books independently and is currently working on the pilot TV episode with local animation company, Flickerpix. 

Speaking after securing this deal, Yvonne said:

“ I am so excited and delighted to have signed a publishing deal with Tiny Tree Children’s Books.

"I’m overwhelmed at how well received my Weatherbies books have been.

"Things have kept moving forward since I self-published my first two books, “Sammy Sun is Coming Out To Play” and “Rosie Rainbows Recycling Day” last year.

"Signing to Tiny Tree Children’s Books is the next step in my journey. It’s been an enjoyable experience working with the Tiny Tree Children’s Book team and I’m looking forward to developing our working relationship”
