A man and woman in their fifties have been arrested as part of an investigation into the sexual abuse of children.
The suspects were detained in the Kinghill Avenue area of Newcastle yesterday.
The charges include gross indecency with a child, incitement to commit an act of gross indecency, and making indecent images of children.
The suspects are due to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court later.
