The suspects were detained in Belfast earlier today.
A man and woman have been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Michael McGibbon.
The pair - who are both aged 35 - were detained in north Belfast this morning.
They've been taken to Musgrave Police Station for questioning.
The father of four died from his injuries after he was shot in the leg in Butler Place in April.
