A man has been arrested over the attempted murder of a taxi driver in west Belfast earlier this year.
Sean O’Reilly, 49, was shot twice while he sat inside his taxi in the west of the city on February 23.
On Thursday, police said they had arrested a 61-year-old man.
They said he was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a property in west Belfast was searched, and a vehicle was removed from the property for further examination.
A police spokesperson said: “He remains in custody at this time.
“Detectives are reiterating their appeal to anyone with information, or footage, to contact them on 101.”
