A man has been assaulted with baseball bats during an aggravated burglary in Newry.
It's after two men burst into a flat in the Mourne View Park area just before half 7 last night.
The occupant was taken to hospital for treatment for cuts and bruising.
A 33 year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the Mourne View Park area or who has any information which could assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact detectives at Ardmore station in Newry on 101 quoting reference number 1633 02/02/20.
