A 31 year old man has been charged with a number of driving offences including driving whilst unfit and failing to stop for police.
It's after a police officer and member of the public were struck by a car during a parade in Portadown yesterday afternoon.
The car failed to stop and was abandoned a short time later at Churchhill Park.
The suspect is due before Lisburn Magistrates Court.
A 31 year old man has been charged with a total of 16 driving offences including ‘aggravated vehicle taking causing injury’ & driving whilst unfit following a hit and run collision during a parade in Portadown yesterday He will appear in court in Lisburn this morning.
