A 26-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in Cookstown.
It follows an incident over the weekend at the junction of Chapel Street and Fountain Road.
Police on patrol at Cemetery Road were able to intervene and the man was subsequently arrested.
He’s also been charged with a number of other offences.
