A 32-year-old man has been charged with the murder of prominent loyalist George Gimore in Carrickfergus.
He's due before Belfast Magistrates Court today.
Mr Gilmore, 44 was gunned down in the Pinewood Avenue area of Carrick back in March.
In a statement the PSNI has said: "Detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of George Gilmore in Carrickfergus on Monday 13th March have charged a 32 year old man with murder. He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday 29 September.
"As is normal procedure the charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
