A man has died following a quad bike crash in Omagh in county Tyrone.
It happened on the Gorticashel Road, shortly before 7.45pm last night.
The 35-year-old man was taken to hospital but died as a result of his injuries.
Inspector Sterling said, “Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1776 02/08/20.”
Meanwhile, west Tyrone MP Órfhlaith Begley has said the local community is in shock following the death of a 35-year-old man in a collision in Omagh.
"The local community is in shock following the death of a 35-year-old man in a collision involving a quad bike on the Gorticashel Road in Omagh.
"Any death on our roads is one too many.
"My thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has lost his life at this sad and tragic time."
