Man due before Newry magistrates charged with attempted murder following Gilford stabbing

A 24 year old man is due before Newry magistrates court today - charged with attempted murder.

It follows a stabbing incident at a house at Castleview in Gilford yesterday.

The accused also faces a number of other offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
