A 26-year-old man has died after he was hit by a car in Cookstown.
Stephen Wilkinson from the Ardboe area was struck by a Ford Focus just before 3.30am this morning.
The 26-year-old man who had been driving the car has been arrested and is in police custody.
A spokersperson for the PSNI said: "Inspector McAdam is appealing for anyone who was in Chapel Street early this morning and who witnessed the collision to contact local officers in Cookstown or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference number 358 of 01/10/17."
