A man has died in hospital after it's thought he fell from a stairway in Derry Londonderry.
The 56-year-old was discovered in the communual area of an apartment block in Inniscarn Crescent just after 8pm Monday night.
He passed away this morning and a post mortem examination will now be carried out.
Local Councillor Kevin Campbell has told Q Radio, Creggan is in shock.
A PSNI investigation is underway. Detective Inspector Michael Winters said: "A post mortem examination will take place in due course to determine the cause of death. I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of Inniscarn Crescent on Monday evening and who witnessed the man falling or anyone with any information about the incident to contact Detectives in Strand Road."
