Police are appealing for information following the attempted robbery of a man in Enniskillen.
It happened at around 3.50pm on Monday (26th June) in the Irvine Crescent area.
The man was walking along the street and was approached by two unknown males who were wearing balaclavas - one of them had a bat.
They demanded money from the man, which he refused to do.
A scuffle broke out and the two suspects took off from the scene empty handed, in the direction of the Glebe Park area.
It's not believed that the man sustained any injuries, although he was left very badly shaken.
Constable Angela Caldwell would appeal to anyone who may have noticed the two suspects or anyone with information.
They can contact the police at Enniskillen on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 993 26/06/17.
Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
