A man has suffered life changing injuries to his face and head following an unprovoked attack in Omagh.
The victim was walking on Georges Street at around 2.30am on Sunday morning when he was set on by a number of men.
Constable Rowan said “At approximately 2:30 am of yesterday a male and female in their 30's were making their way home on Georges Street in Omagh when a group of unknown males assaulted the man in an unprovoked attack.
"He received injuries to his face and head as a result of this.
"If you have any information regarding this incident please contact Police on the non-emergency number 101 and quote reference 224 of the 23/07/17."
