A man in his 30s has sustained serious facial injuries after being assaulted by a number of men in Derry/Londonderry.
Police say they received reports of an ongoing disturbance in the street, at Bloomfield Park shortly before 1.30am.
The victim is currently being treated in hospital for injuries.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and taken into custody.
