A man's been taken to hospital after being beaten with a 'flick stick' in Newtownabbey.
Two men and 1 woman forced their way into the victim's flat in the Burneys Mews area just after 7 last night.
The 25 year old suffered a number of head lacerations and a suspected broken wrist.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Burneys Mews in Newtownabbey around 7.30pm last night. 25 year old male assaulted after intruders forced entry to his flat. Witnesses asked to call 101 quoting 1114 11/01/19.

A PSNI spokesperson said:
"Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in the Burneys Mews area of Newtownabbey last night, Friday 11 January. "
"It was reported that at around 7:30pm two males and a female forced their way into a flat in the area and assaulted the male occupant with what was described as a flick stick."
"The 25 year old male was taken to hospital for treatment for a number of lacerations to his head and a suspected broken wrist."
