A man has been charged with professing to belong to a proscribed organisation, namely the IRA.
The 39 year old has also been charged with common assault and blackmail.
A 27 year old man is also facing charges of blackmail and common assault.
The pair were arrested in Omagh on Monday by detectives investigating serious crime in the area.
They are due to appear at Strabane Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
