Retailer Next is set to expand its presence at the Quays shopping centre in Newry.
The new unit will be more than double the size of the current unit housed by the chain.
It's set to open in May with centre manager Cathal Austin hoping the development will bring further footfall into the Quays.
“Since the opening of Phase 5, in particular Marks and Spencer, we have seen a substantial increase in footfall, and the addition of the new format Next store will no doubt add significantly to that again," he said.
Next will occupy a two-storey unit in the new Phase 5 development directly adjacent to Marks and Spencer and PureGym, who both opened at the scheme around 12 months ago. The well-known brand will continue to trade from its existing premises at the shopping centre until then.
