Northern Ireland's Chief Medical Officer says the pressures currently being felt by the NHS are akin to the pressures normally felt during winter months.
Sir Michael McBride says a combination of normal hospital admissions and growing numbers of Coronavirus patients means it fells more like winter rather than summer.
Sir Michael was addressing Stormont's Health Committee this morning where he again drove home the importance of young people getting vaccinated otherwise the region will face a "perfect storm".
He told the committee that unless 90 per cent vaccination was achieved the region was facing a "perfect storm":
