Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue is giving a final push to recruit volunteers at its Downpatrick Station.
They're looking for people who will liaise with the community, delivering fire safety messages and information.
Assistant Chief Fire and Rescue Officer Alan Walmsley says they'll prepare volunteers for their roles:
He added, "Volunteers bring a wealth of experience, skills and enthusiasm which we intend to harness through a wide range of activities including distributing fire safety in the leaflets in the community, delivering fire safety advice and supporting local community events."
