Police are appealing for information after a series of attempted burglaries in Lisburn.
This relates to incidents in the Tonagh Avenue, Tirowen Drive, Carntogher Road, and the Green and Glebe Walk areas sometime between 1-2am yesterday (Thursday) morning.
Intruders entered a house in the Tirowen Drive area - but were disturbed and made off without taking anything from the property.
There were also reports of three men attempting to get into a number of houses in the area by trying door handles - however, no entry was gained.
It's believed that one of the men was wearing a light coloured hoodie while the other two were wearing dark clothing - one of whom was also wearing a puffer jacket.
Anyone with CCTV/Dash-cam footage of any suspicious activity in the area at the time should contact police in Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 166 06/05/21.
