Police in Coleraine ask people to 'give them information so they can 'give out charge sheets.'
Police say, as Christmas is fast approaching, they want remind everyone that it is the time for giving. Therefore, they're asking anybody who has issues with anti-social behaviour, criminal damage, speeding in your area, careless driving, theft, drug dealing or any other offending, to feel free to give them that information.
That way, the PSNI says can respond in kind, by giving said offenders the gift of a charge sheet or a fixed penalty notice in "this Season of Good Will." They added that while It is not their intention to criminalise or punish the law abiding members of the community, they wanted the public to help them "keep people safe."
