Police deal with 140 calls across Mid Ulster at weekend

According to a recent PSNI Dungannon and South Tyrone facebook post, police attended "roughly" 140 calls over the weekend period. 

"There were 5 burglaries reported in one evening, which 4 of them occurred at business premises in Cookstown area. 

"There has been 19 arrests made including:

  • 5 drink driving offences
     
  • 3 on assault
     
  • 1 drug offence
     
  • 1 for having no Pedar's certificate (cold calling to a house to sell goods) which was detected in Clogher Valley.

"We have also dealt with 15 incidents involving anti-social behaviours,13 road traffic collisions with one arrest for drink driving and one for dangerous driving and drink driving.

"11 domestic incidents, 13 thefts with two being items stolen from vehicles and 12 concern for safety calls.

"All in all, a very busy, yet proactive weekend around Mid-Ulster area."
